‘Reel life.’ Popular culture can reveal a lot about ourselves – spirituality, values, and identity. We will watch movies together and spend some time reflecting on them over supper.
1st Sunday of each month is Manaakitanga Sunday as we look to nurture a healthy network of communities. The concept of manaakitanga is a vital guiding principle - many of you will know this is not just about hospitality, but a holistic sense of kindness, generosity, support, the process of showing respect, and care for others. We gather together in various places, or random acts of kindness activities. Our Young families often gather on this Sunday.
5th Sunday we go outdoors (into the mountains, Hanmer Springs, Beach, Banks Peninsula etc) to explore what it means to meet with God and each other outside.
Keep an eye out on the calendar for these events and contact Darryl for more information darryl@kiwichurch.org.nz
